The church of Agios Theodosios, which was built around the year 1900, is located at the entrance of the village when heading from Pafos. This church constitutes the main church of the village, while it was expanded during the 20th century. The building’s dimensions are 20x7 metres. The church’s interior is adorned by a wooden iconostasis.
According to testimonies given by senior residents, there used to be a Monastery in the area during the Byzantine period. Later on, however, during the Turkish occupation, the monks were driven off the area. The same probably happened with the Greeks of the village, although it is possible that they were Islamised. According to tradition, the latter reappeared in 1830.
